The 50hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training: Foundations Module is a comprehensive training developed for serious students and teachers interested in learning the core physical aspects of the practice of Yin Yoga.

The 50hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training Foundations Module will include:

  • Core principles of Yin Yoga how to cue postures and educate students safely.
  • Practice the core Yin asanas: Backbends, forward bends, lunges, external hip openers, twists, and upper body postures.
  • Explore the difference between Aesthetic Alignment and Functional Alignment how bone variation affects range of motion and alignment considerations.
  • Study the anatomy and biomechanics of the spine, pelvis, thigh, knee, and shoulder girdle.
  • Principles of tension and compression in asana.
  • Learn five essential Yin sequences, with relevant modifications and adjustments.
  • Principles of sequencing target areas and counterposes.
  • Investigate the histological structure and function of connective tissue.
  • Understand the positive physiological effects of Yin Yoga on the fascia, connective tissue, and joint health.
  • The Foundations Module is suitable for those both interested in teaching Yin Yoga or for those who simply wish to deepen their understanding of the practice.

Students will receive a certificate of training which is eligible for Continuing Education Credit with the Yoga Alliance. This Foundations Module is a core module of the Summers School of Yin Yoga 200-hour and 300-hour certification program.

  • Masks are required indoors at Modo Yoga Columbus until you arrive on your mat to practice
  • No walk-in registrations allowed students must be pre-registered upon entry
  • Mat and/or towel rentals ARE available
  • Showers and Lockers ARE available. Please be conscious of student and staffs time and limit showers to 3 minutes so we can lock up 30 minutes after class ends

Our focus of our offerings is to create special experiences that feel personal. Our yoga teacher program focuses on the why of each student and what motivates each person to be a yoga teacher. We then custom-design each session around the whys of our group

Upon acceptance, a $500 deposit will reserve your slot.Program: $2950 due the first day of the training Early bird: $2650 if paid in full by July 1 Installments: $3200 in five payments of a $500 deposit to reserve your spot, then $800 due September 1, November 1, and January 1, and the final $300 due March 1.

Whether you aspire to teach or merely want to learn more about yoga, the Danja Yoga teacher training is for you. Danja Yoga is a yoga studio and school located in Columbus, Ohio. Just as our studio is responsibly eclectic, covering a wide range of styles and approaches to yoga, our teacher training program is broad and deep.
