International Yoga Day | Yoga With Adriene

If you are a yoga expert, or you are looking to get into it, then Yoga on the Rocks might be ideal for you. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is bringing back yoga for June and July. Classes are every Saturday and Sunday at 7 a.m. and will begin June 5 to August 1. The Yoga River instructors will be leading the classes. Attendees must bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

Tickets are priced at $17 per person and will go on sale on April 16. Tickets can only be bought in advance and will not be sold at the venue. A dollar from every ticket will be donated to the Love Your Brain Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps people who have suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Even though Red Rocks has been authorized to expand its capacity, attendees must wear masks at all times and practice social distancing guidelines. Participants should not attend if they are no feeling well or may have been around someone who was sick.

State officials announced back in March that Red Rocks Amphitheater would reopen in April with a 2,500-person capacity. This is a result of a variance that allows the amphitheater to operate outside the state’s COVID-19 rules. The outdoor venue’s capacity is typically around 9,500 visitors.

Since the announcement, Red Rocks has rescheduled upcoming events while following the current rules to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Its popular Film on the Rocks Summer Series will also return in the following months, combining a drive-in program introduced last summer.

Namaste And Popcorn: Yoga Film On The Rocks Snowshape Return To Red Rocks

DENVER After a year of twists and turns during the coronavirus pandemic, its time for Red Rocks to welcome visitors once again for its Yoga on the Rocks, Film on the Rocks, and SnowShape Ski Season Fitness. Tickets for those events go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m.

MORRISON, CO AUGUST 22: People participate in a morning yoga session on August 22, 2020 at the Red Rocks Amphiteatre in Morrison, Colorado. The famed concert locale features physically distanced summer events during the coronavirus pandemic, including weekend yoga and a drive-in movie theater. Normally, there are 2,500 participants but due to coronavirus restrictions, the event has been capped at 175.

Last year, those events returned for an abbreviated season with restrictions on capacity and social distancing measures.

Yoga on the Rocks will run Saturday and Sunday mornings from June through August.

SnowShape will return for a 4-week winter fitness series in September and October to help you get back in sliding and gliding shape ahead of the 2021-2022 ski season.

Film on the Rocks returns for its 22nd season with a combination of drive-in and in-venue options. Drive-ins begin in May and car packages include snacks. In-venue screenings will return later in the summer.

Yoga On The Rocks To Return This Summer At Red Rocks

The popular summer series Yoga on the Rocks is returning to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Colorado yogis can return to Red Rocks starting this June.

Classes will take place each Saturday and Sunday morning at 7:00 A.M. from June 5 through August 1, according to 9NEWS.

The yoga series was delayed by a month in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Class sizes were also limited to 175 people per session.

This summer, the capacity will increase to 500 people per class according to spokesman Brian Kitts.

Despite the increased class sizes, participants will still be required to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines and protocols.

Everyone in attendance must wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.

The classes will be run by instructors with The River Yoga.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 16, and cost $17. Drop-in sales at the door will not be allowed and those who wish to participate must buy their tickets in advance online.

You can find tickets to the sessions here.

Red Rocks Capacity Expanded To 6300 Will Move To Full Capacity On June 21

DENVER Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre can now allow 6,300 people at concerts up from 2,800 and will expand to full capacity on June 21, with several big names slated for visits later this summer.

Additionally, fitness events like Yoga on the Rocks can now be held at the full capacity of 2,000 people up from 500 said Denver Arts and Venues spokesperson Brian Kitts.

Kitts said that the new capacity announcement for concerts will affect all shows after June 21, including newly announced shows and ones rescheduled from 2020.

The new 6,300-person capacity will be in effect for May 23 and 25, when the Colorado Symphony will perform The Music of John Williams the man behind the scores of Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and more.

While many of this summers concerts were rescheduled from last year, Red Rocks also announced a few new shows on Monday in addition to the Colorado Symphony concert.

A second Alison Wonderland show was added for Sept. 14 Above & Beyond will play Oct. 22. And the Wu-Tang Clan will play the amphitheater on Aug. 13 with the Colorado Symphony and Big Boi, along with Chris Karns. Red Rocks also announced 311 would be back in town on Oct. 2.

Celebrating Yoga Rocks The Park

As many of you know, Yoga Rocks the Park was yesterday, and wow, was it ever spectacular! The summer sunshine really decided to give its all to us yesterday, creating a wonderfully joyful atmosphere for all of our outstanding yogis to enjoy complimentary yoga practices, delicious snacks, and awesome music. We couldnt have asked for a better day!

Our co-owner, Jason Lu, kicked off the day with a refreshing and revitalizing Yoga Tree Flow to get everybody energized. Once everyone gathered their strength, we went into some Acro Yoga with David Ung. This was quite a challenge, but one that everyone happily stepped up to. Not everyone is a naturally acrobatic person, and we totally understand that. However, the effort that everyone put in was astounding, and a wonderful thing for us to witness.

Last, but certainly not least, we had a little Downward Disco with Michelle Martin. The tunes were infectious, and I think that its safe to say that this was an excellent ending for our event! We even saw a little bit of a dance party break out between poses, a thing that definitely gave a good stream of the giggles to some yogis. Who said that yoga always had to be serious?

See you all in the park next year! Namaste!

Can You Smell What The Rock Is Cooking

" Yoga on the Rocks" 2000 people doing yoga together at ...

To maintain a bulk as impressive as Johnsons, there is a continuous need to feed the body. If you , you will see some of the meals that Rock consumes, as well as the impressive platters of cheat meals that you eat in a single day. The Rock eats meals every 2 to 3 hours, about 5 to 7 times a day.

Heres a sample of what the Rock cooks up throughout the week:

  • Meal 1 280-gram steak filet, 4 egg whites, 140-gram oatmeal, 1 glass of watermelon juice
  • Meal 2 220-gram chicken, 2 cups white rice, 1 cup broccoli or a mixture of bell pepper, mushrooms, broccoli, and a protein shake
  • Meal 3 220-gram halibut, 2 cups white rice, 1 cup asparagus
  • Meal 4 220-gram chicken, 1 cup broccoli, 350 gram baked potato
  • Meal 5 220-gram halibut, 1 cup white rice, 1 cup asparagus
  • Meal 6 280-gram steak filet, 250 gram backed potato, 1 salad
  • Meal 7 20-30 gram casein protein supplement, 10 egg whites

As Johnson has told Bodybuilding.com in a 2018 interview, Diet-wise, I generally eat 5 meals a day. Im very prepared and organized, and everything is planned out in advance. Its all measured depending on what Im training to achieve in my diet include chicken, steak fillets, egg whites, oatmeal, broccoli, halibut, rice, asparagus, baked potato, leafy salads, peppers, mushrooms, and onions, and then also some casein protein.
