We Flow Hard Vinyasa Express
Open to all levels, WeFlowHard® Vinyasa is Y7s signature class designed to help take your practice to the next level. This format includes all the benefits of our signature WeFlowHard® Vinyasa compacted into a 50-minute flow. Using verbal cues, the instructor will guide you through an extended warmup followed by two vinyasa sequences, each repeated three times. The 1st time through the sequence, the instructor will break down the alignment in each posture. The 2nd time through, you will repeat the same sequence, speeding things up to link one-breath to one-movement. Finally, you will have the opportunity to take that sequence on your own during our signature Flow On Your Own portion of class. This is where the sequence becomes yours. Add in challenges, try modifications, or take out any postures that dont serve you.
All studios are heated to 80-90 degrees using state-of-the-art infrared technology, which helps create a detoxifying sweat that stimulates blood circulation and increases flexibility. Classes are paced to the beat of the music to drive the breath, with tracks from varied artists and genres. We practice in a dark, candlelit room with no mirrors to encourage you to turn your focus inward and explore your individual practice.

Iyengar Yoga Institute Of New York
The Iyengar Yoga Institute is a grounding, open, airy, environment. Much has been written about the history of Iyengar yoga, which was developed by B K S Iyengar during his 75 years of teaching Patanjalis Yoga Sutras.
In contrast to Vinyasa-style yoga Iyengar yoga has a strong emphasis on stamina, balance, concentration, and flexibility. Its slightly old school in that way.
At the Iyengar Yoga Institute in New York, skilled teachers guide participants through poses with rigor and intention this is not a gym yoga studio that blasts pop music.
Instead, through the twin pillars of mindfulness and breath, teachers introduce a very grounding practice. Classes here honor the yogic tradition as it was practiced in India, even as it continues to evolve in the United States.
Today, IYI offers some of the best yoga in NYC, and they also offer workshops and teacher training for those who want to dive deeper into the practice. For seasoned yogis, coming here is like making a pilgrimage.
