The word compression used to scare me: As a curvier girl, I was afraid it meant being sucked into corsets and uncomfortably tight Spandex contraptions. So Spanx, I need to thank you for helping me get over that fear, because the few pairs that I tried made me feel secure, but not like I was going to pass out from lack of circulation.
I tried the Booty Boost Active leggings in a 7/8 length due to my shorter stature. The first thing I loved was the length, so all you girls 55 and under need this pair ASAP. There was no bunching at the ankle, which means no annoying lumps under socks or booties when wearing these out in the world.
The second thing I needed to look at was behind me literally, as the booty boost feature was in the name itself. While checking myself out, I also found the best tiny mesh pocket in the back waistband, perfect for keys or a small credit card when out for a run since the pants have no other pockets.

This is another one from Wolven that I had to make a separate category for just so I could rave about them. Ladies, lets talk about pockets.
If I had it my way, womens clothes would have pockets and men would be forced to carry a heavy bag, just to see how the other half lives. Since thats not how it is right now, leggings with pockets are the next best thing. I turned back to Wolven for this, and Im so glad I did.
I tried the Wolf Grey pocket leggings and obviously the first thing I did was see how much stuff they could hold. I was thrilled to see that they had not one but two substantially sized pockets one on each leg and the seams were cut in a way that was actually super flattering, as opposed to cutting my thighs off at a weird spot. First, I tried putting my iPhone 10 in one pocket, which slipped in no problem. Then I borrowed a friends iPhone 11 Pro Max, one of the huge models, and it fit as well. While I did feel the weight of the heavier phone, the pants stayed up on my waist and I was able to move comfortably even with full pockets. Keys totally fit, as did credit cards, a skinny wallet and random office supplies from my desk, should you ever need a roll of tape and a Sharpie on the go.

Yoga Pants Are Incredibly Hard To Find In Longer Lengths
Ive always had such a hard time finding yoga pants. While some stores carry long inseam options for pants and jeans, its nearly impossible to find yoga pants in longer lengths. The only store Ive found that actually sells long yoga pants is Target but I cant always find them and they dont have very many options.
But I still love yoga pants. They are incredibly versatile, comfortable and sexy. Whether they are worn to yoga class, working out, running errands or just for those lazy days, they are perfect for many occasions!
Trust me, Ive looked a long time for yoga pants to fit my taller frame, and I FINALLY found some that are long enough for me, and are pretty decent as well!

Leggings, once just a workout essential, have been the subject of many an internet fight and trends galore since the dawn of time. Well, at least as long as I can remember since shoving my Victorias Secret yoga pants into my boots in middle school.
When entering leggings into Google, I was stunned by how many companies have been created to support this once niche, now ubiquitous need. There are so many options, styles and cuts, some bleeding into yoga pants territory, but thats an article for another time.
Overwhelmed with the options, I decided to narrow my search. How about the best black leggings? Or the best leggings to wear as pants . I wanted to see which leggings were out there for curvier girls like myself, but that didnt compromise when it came to style and the fun patterns I see on fitness influencer accounts, which are now splashed all over my Instagram recommended page after writing this article.
After hours of research well actually, more like hours of online shopping I pinpointed the brands I wanted to try that went up to at least a large, carried leggings specifically and had something special to set them apart. They also had to be less than $100 per pair, as not everyone can afford $400+ leggings from designers like Lucas Hugh and a $900 pair from Fendi.
Once all my leggings had come in the mail, I felt like a kid on Christmas .

My First Recommendation For Long Length Yoga Pants:
Essential Yoga Foldover Pant from Alloy My Personal Review
I bought these awhile ago on a whim because a lot of my yoga pants got to the point of being completely worn out ! I finally decided I needed new ones, and after searching at Target with no luck, I decided to get these foldover yogasfrom Alloy.
I grabbed them on a 2 for $50 deal, so I took a chance because I figured I wouldnt find them anywhere else. At $25 a piece I figured it wasnt too pricey, I knew theyd definitely get a lot of use.
I decided to buy the 37 inseam because all the reviews on Alloys website say they shrink a lot and the 35 were too short after washing
Now, since my legs are quite long I decided to err on the side of caution and get the longer option.
However, personally I found the 37 to be WAY too long for me
I figured they would shrink in the wash like everyone said, but they really didnt!
So if you like incredibly long yoga pants the 37 is great but otherwise I would advise anyone just looking for a regular tall length to go for the 35 its much more appropriate.. I dont like when my pants are so long they drag on the ground because it just causes the bottoms to get all torn up!
I really love the foldover waistband and the fact they had so many different colors available! I really had a hard time deciding, but I chose to be boring and got the gray and black ones.The PROS:

If youve been on TikTok, nay, the internet in the last year, chances are youve seen the scrunch butt legging trend.
While the original leggings are the viral SEASUM scrunch butt pair, we wanted a more wearable and less honeycomb pair, and we found that and more with Cute Booty Lounge. I opted for one of their more basic styles, the Nudey Booty Lifestyle Crossover Booty leggings in a plain black color. They still stand out however, with an insanely cool and slimming mesh waistband and of course, the ruching in the back up the seam.
Since they are black, its hard to see the scrunch, but I actually preferred that to seeing obvious seems for a more natural lifting look. I also loved the waistband, as it looks like. a sexy strappy number when really the mesh does a great job of holding in the tummy and staying up on the hips. One note on the mesh though beware underwear poking through, as the mesh is pretty low cut. Id opt for a low-rise thong or something similar to avoid an accidental whale tail
