Is Mindfulness The Same As Meditation
Not too many years ago, meditation was practised by a relatively small percentage of people outside of India. Now, meditation has been embraced by athletes, celebrities, corporate executives, schools, as well as religious groups and spiritual people of all faiths and backgrounds. Scientists have become intrigued with techniques and processes and the physical effects of meditation. Meditation has gone mainstream!
Raja Yoga Meditation as taught by the Brahma Kumaris is distinguished from other forms of meditation and mindfulness in its emphasis on direct experience of ones spirit or soul, and the souls communication and relationship with the divine source of spiritual energy. For BKs, this is a process of remembrance and an experience of a return to ones true identity. There is no denying that various meditation techniques have been shown to have impressive beneficial effects on health in general and thought processes in particular. While meditation is not a panacea for all ills, many scholarly articles, news stories, and books attest to the benefits of regular meditation, including:
Raja Yoga Meditation deals with the divine spark of eternal spiritual light that is inside each person. Many spiritual teachers make reference to that spiritual light, yet too few people are actually able to experience this. With practice, the art of perceiving oneself and others from this dimension can be truly life changing.

The process of going within, experiencing oneself as a spiritual being or a divine soul, which is a self-luminous, divine point of energy, and then connecting with the Father, the supreme source of energy and virtues, empowers the self in a long-lasting way.
This process of self-empowerment is entirely voluntary and involves no element of suppression of the mind. It is in fact freedom from all limitations of mind that we had drawn. It is also a process of aligning ones thoughts, feelings, words, and actions with the souls original qualities of peace, purity, love, bliss, and truth. This is the way shown by God for our Self-transformation – from being vicious to become viceless.
Tena Koutou And Welcome To Our Meditation Space
If you have ever wanted to learn to meditate, think positively, develop stress management techniques, feel calmer, get to know yourself or just feel a little more peaceful the solution may be closer than you think.
Raja Yoga meditation is a method of relaxing, refreshing and clearing the mind and heart. It helps you look inside to rediscover and reconnect with your original, spiritual essence. Meditation enables an integration of your spiritual identity with the social and physical realities around you, fostering a functional and healthy balance between your inner and outer worlds. We believe in the concept of changing the self to change the world and the power of micro-level change: whatever initiative one person takes, others get inspired and do likewise.

What Is Rajyoga Meditation
Raja means ruler and Yoga refers to communion. So, Rajyoga is a divine communion which makes us self sovereign. Meditation comes from the Latin word- Mederi which means to heal. Rajyoga Meditation is thus a self-healing process. By practicing it, our eyes open to a totally new world- a world inside, activating our dormant inner energies in the form of powers and nourishing the spiritual awareness of the self, Supreme, time and world. Once we start exploring this inner world, we find the root of our problems and also the key to their solutions. We start to respond to situations, rather than just reacting to them and begin to live in harmony.
What Is Raja Yoga Meditation
I have been following the study and practice of Raja Yoga meditation for over seven years. Over time I have developed more discipline in my practice and have become better able to channel my thoughts and to feel content with who I am. I have just completed the seven day Raja Yoga foundation course again at Global Cooperation House in London, where I was lucky enough to get one to one tuition with one of the best and most advanced teachers. It included a deeper understanding of the virtues of the human soul and a broader perspective of the eternal and imperishable aspect of spirit, both of which has helped to enhance my meditation further.
Raja Yoga means yoga to become a king a master over yourself. It also means union with God. The aim of Raja Yoga is to discipline the mind, sharpen the intellect and to have full control over the bodily senses. It is an ancient open-eyed meditation technique which comes from India and is free to learn. It is a great way to save your time, energy and money as it makes you wiser and more in control of your life as you develop will power. One truly can become a self-ruler.
One of the things you can do is to see yourself as one who does everything only for the One. This way you pay good attention to all actions, keep a clear conscience and stay in Gods love. Tell yourself that He is getting His work done through you. You are His instrument.
